Kinetik Bilişim uses Teltonika industrial routers to give plants, field sites and branches LTE/5G backup links and secure remote access.
Teltonika Networks is the networking company of the Lithuania-based Teltonika group, making industrial routers, gateways, switches and modems. With wide temperature ranges, DIN-rail mounting and 4G/LTE–5G support, the devices are built for demanding environments such as plants, field sites and branches.
The devices run the RutOS operating system and are managed from one screen with Teltonika RMS.

Kinetik Bilişim and Teltonika
On a production line an internet outage is not an IT problem, it is lost output. So we use Teltonika in two places: an LTE/5G backup link that takes over the moment the main line drops, and a VPN endpoint that gives secure access to machines, PLCs or remote sites.
Every connection into the OT side sits in its own segment behind a FortiGate or Check Point firewall. The industrial router's job is to provide connectivity, not to carry the security policy.
Product family
- RUT series routers — redundant connectivity with dual-SIM 4G/LTE and 5G models.
- TRB gateways — compact industrial gateways to bring machines and sensors online.
- TSW switches — DIN-rail industrial switches.
- Teltonika RMS — remote monitoring, updating and management of every device.
Which problems do we solve?
- Plants and branches depending on a single internet line. Uninterrupted connectivity with automatic LTE/5G failover.
- Sending a vehicle to a remote site for every fault. Remote diagnosis via RMS and VPN.
- Uncontrolled remote-maintenance access by machine vendors. Logged, time-limited VPN access that can be switched off.
The 'temporary' modem a machine vendor leaves for remote maintenance is the most common permanent back door we find on site. With Teltonika we make that access logged and switchable.

How we work
- Discovery. Inventory of links, sites and OT devices; assessing outage impact.
- Design and PoC. Failover scenario, carrier and SIM choice; pilot at one site.
- Deployment and migration. Device installation, VPN and firewall segmentation.
- Operations. Monitoring and firmware tracking via RMS — Managed Services.

Frequently asked questions
Which carrier should the backup link use?
A different infrastructure from the main line. On dual-SIM models we use two different mobile carriers to remove single-carrier dependency as well.
Is RMS mandatory?
No. Devices can be managed locally through RutOS; RMS is a credit-based cloud service for managing many devices remotely.
What is the default password of a Teltonika router?
On newer devices the first login uses the device-specific password printed on the label, and a password change is required. A router left on the internet with its default password is one of the most common gaps we find; during setup we close the management interface to the outside.
Do you also work with Teltonika GPS trackers such as the FMB920?
No. The FMB series vehicle trackers are Teltonika Telematics products; our focus is Teltonika Networks routers, gateways and switches.
Does production stop when your line goes down?
