SANGFOR · Hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) · Virtualisation
Kinetik Bilişim brings compute, storage and networking onto one platform with Sangfor HCI, and runs the migration from VMware to a written plan with a way back at every step.
Sangfor Technologies is a vendor of cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity products, founded in Shenzhen in 2000. In Kinetik Bilişim's portfolio Sangfor's main role is HCI: it combines compute, storage and network virtualisation in a single software layer.
The result: one platform and one support contact instead of a separate SAN, a separate hypervisor licence and a separate management console.

Kinetik Bilişim and Sangfor
Changes in VMware's licensing pushed many mid-sized organisations to recalculate their virtualisation budget. Sangfor HCI stands out in that calculation: hypervisor and distributed storage from a single vendor, managed from one console, with an operating model IT teams already find familiar.
On the open-source side we also put Proxmox on the table, and we make the call clearly: if you expect end-to-end support from a single vendor, Sangfor HCI; if your team is comfortable with Linux and flexibility matters most, Proxmox. We position Sangfor ZTNA not on its own but as a secondary layer that complements the existing security architecture.
Product family
- Sangfor HCI — compute, storage and network virtualised on one platform.
- aSV — Sangfor's KVM-based hypervisor.
- Sangfor Cloud Platform — managing several HCI clusters as a private cloud.
- NGAF, Engine Zero and ZTNA — Sangfor's next-generation firewall (NGAF / Network Secure), the AI-based Engine Zero malware engine and ZTNA; secondary products that complement HCI projects.
Which problems do we solve?
- Unexpected licence costs at VMware renewal. We calculate total cost of ownership side by side for Sangfor HCI and Proxmox.
- SAN and servers reaching end of life at the same time. Storage distributed across servers instead of a separate array.
- Backup and disaster recovery patched together from separate products. One plan using HCI's built-in backup and replication features.
What decides an HCI project is not the product but the migration plan. We don't touch a single VM until it is written down which machine moves in which order and with which rollback window.

How we work
- Discovery. Inventory of virtual machines, resource usage and licences.
- Design and PoC. Capacity plan and a pilot cluster with non-critical workloads.
- Deployment and migration. Sequenced VM migration with a rollback plan.
- Operations. Capacity, backup and update tracking — Managed Services.

Frequently asked questions
Can Sangfor HCI replace VMware?
For most mid-sized organisations, yes. Virtual machines are converted and moved; workloads tied to special hardware or plug-ins are assessed separately during discovery.
Can we reuse our existing servers?
Sangfor HCI runs on Sangfor appliances or on third-party servers from its compatibility list. We check your servers' eligibility during discovery.
Do you still offer Sangfor ZTNA?
Yes, but as a secondary layer that complements HCI or the existing security architecture rather than a standalone project.
